TDECU as XFL venue

If it helps us get concessions and restrooms on north side, I hope they stay around a while.
If Houston and June Jones bring in the other “JJ” for offense, I’m all in baby.

Hmmm. Not a bad logo. Might have to buy a ball cap.

I like the name, a lot.

It’s a reference to the Oilers and of course the city’s oil & gas industry.

I think your NFL team really screwed up by not going this route.

Just as long as our AD gets the $$$ up front (hopefully in cash) I’m happy.

Seattle, New York, and Tampa got the best videos. Dont really like our name but well see if it grows on me. I think going above the oil moniker would have been best.

“DC Defenders” is kind of catchy

No way Bud Adams would have allowed that. Pretty sure he stilled owned the Oilers’ logo when the Texans were created.

The Kansas City Chiefs started out as the Dallas Texans

The bull grew on me(I’m probably in the minority on that), but this one is 100% better. Let’s just hope the generic Oilers up north of us don’t try to sue for similarities.

ours in cbisd is unfortunately maroon

The Adams Estate absolutely still owns everything associated with The Oilers…
The final insult on the way out the door.

From what I understand, They could actually call themselves the Houston Oilers if they wanted with no repercussion. As long as an NFL team doesn’t try to call themselves the Oilers, they’re fine.

As far as the logo goes, I’m sure Vince McMahon consulted with lawyers and made the closest thing they could legally get to the Oilers logo. It’s a shame that the rest of the league has generic names and logos.
