Just keep winning…

Top eight announced so far. Based on a couple of comments, not so sure about 4 or better seed at this point.

No top 16 at this point. Committe has Coogs at 17-19.

Palm has us at a 5. About what was expected.

Total BS…seems they only mention the NET rankings positively when it backs up their subjectivity….any other time, it’s just a “starting point”…UH is top 7 in Kenpom, Torvik, and NET…they should be in top 16 right now…definitely instead of Texas, and probably others.

Duke as a 2 seed? Joke. Lost Twice at home. Gotta give Coach K an easy path

Midwest and West very tough grouping

Providence and Wisconsin please continue to lose. You’re not feared as a top seed

And one of those losses was to Virginia. Seems that the selection committee is similar to the committee in football…they will forgive really crappy losses, even at home, if you have enough quality wins.

I forgot about the loss to Florida State by Duke.

3 not great losses on their resume. Home cooking by the Committee

Wins: Gonzaga and Kentucky, early in the season

Losses: Miami, FSU, Virginia and Ohio St

I don’t really see whats the difference of being a 4 vs a 5 other than us wearing red in a potential R32 game instead of white

Also Duke being a 2 over someone like TX Tech is laughable

For the most part , I saw no big surprises. I had the Coogs in the 14-18 range, very little could have been the separation. The blame needs to go towards the anemic AAC , cant get around it. I rather the Coogs win some of those blow outs by 5-7 pts w/ the opponent being better. Bottomline we can complain all we want but there’s no getting around ZERO Quad 1 Wins. Plus when i look at the other teams in other Confs, I always add 2 losses as being equal to whatever UH has. So 4 loss Houston team should be the same as 6 loss team in much better Conf. Jmo on thgs. Still plenty of time to move all way to even #3 Seed if Coogs take care of business.

Agree. That is what we are playing to the last few weeks. Time will tell if it’s mini-slump or the fatigue factor will be our long term undoing.

Alabama games hurts…

….slight chance Okie St. becomes a Q1…… #54 in net, move up four spots….if they have a couple of upsets the rest of way or conference tourney it could happen.

I think Oregon underachieving badly was the real killer here

Just don’t say that the NET is the “key” factor. Of course it is if convenient to justify bias. So we’ve only had 3 quad 1 opportunities, I guess it’s better to suffer multiple double-digit losses

Good motivation for the team to keep playing hard.

I actually like this team going into the tournament overlooked.
