dunn was bench only a short period and was put back as the starter…
dunn is a 5th year senior 2x all-conference, 1x all fresh… you arent starting a guy you barely played over that… arc had expectation this year aswell and barely put him on the court… he isnt just going to start him becuase
im the guy that has been saying there is probably been some overhyping of what dunn can do here, but no way he doesnt start to begin the year.
when the roster was completed i was going to make a thread about expectation for next year… i was going to note that this team will be playing to potential is sharp or TA overtake dunn before the end of the season (meaning they are playing to a level to justify it). neither are close now to expect that game 1…
im assuming we bring in another big… TA starting at the 4 is a possibility with no adition but that is a real killer for rebounding …
short guards at the 1 and 2, the 3 isnt a notable rebounder, the 4 will be 30lbs lighter than the average 4, and then 6’7 at the 5
I will say that is a disaster team to go through the brutal b12 schedule unless Francis surprises us all. But more I think about next year the less sure I get on what we will have. I guess I am still hurting from the Miami loss, especially, how we lost. I don’t buy into one guy getting hot. It was the entire Miami team that played better then all except possibly the PF position of Jarace.
Sometimes you just need to get over it. We lost to a team playing at their best and they played a great game. It happens but not very often to our Coogs.
To make a deep run some luck is involved and playing well at the right time. Some of our roster was beat up and we were not peaking.
Ok this may be a stupid question… but what do transfers do to end the school year? I’ve seen pictures of the team practicing and obviously no Tramon. I guess he just does his workout somewhere else? Does he even use the facilities? It would be kind of awkward I imagine.
Like imagine staff member walking through campus and seeing Tramon on his way to class? Seems kind of weird. When I had to tell coach I was quitting a sport in high school I would dread walking by their class in the hallway.
Being a number one seed last tournament, we got hit with others’ best shot.
That’s what Miami did to us.
We could have still beat them if the AAC tourney didn’t get us injured every where.
I hope after the starting lineup is announced for the first game that y’all remember what CKS always says, in how the team always changes from Nov to March. If not some of y’all will blow up. lol
but something to note from the tramon convo we had earlier… most of the shots he took were midranges… our staff just likes midranges, so i dont tend to hold our guys to the fire for taking a ton
Roberts hasn’t spent all that time practicing his 3 point shot to be a 5. Unless we bring a better option at the 4, I expect to see Roberts playing there.
