Lmao y’all are really harping on this so much. It’s like a sheep hivemind that milks the same talking point over and over again, no matter if they’re proven wrong or not.

It’s recruiting rankings on a football board…it is what it is

There’s always an excuse, isn’t there. We’re gonna build a program on the portal. We’re doomed.

All I have to say is…he’d better pull in the JUCO/Transfer Portal class from Hell if that’s the case.

We still only have the eight commitments. Since the rankings are heavily based on commitments, and not average rating per commitment, we’re going to drop as lower ranked schools add commitments.

When did we have a worse recruiting class than this?

…and the ironic thing is that this is after our first year in a Power Conference.

Wasn’t the opposite supposed to happen because more higher ranked recruits wanted to play in a bigger higher profile conference?

How does our rival P5/4 non- SEC Texas schools compare?

SMU ?
TCU ?
Texas Tech ?
Baylor ?

We are #1 on both sides of that number.

No 4 or 5 star wants to come play for Dana

I understand why we are commenting on UH’s recruiting ranking this early, but we need to recognize that this is a fall, winter and spring process. The analogy is predicting the winner of a baseball game in the third inning.

I will say this puts pressure on the staff to hit some home runs in the transfer portal for the Dec-Jan period.

Dana said it’s because we don’t have our own football operations center yet.

Does UCF have their own football operations center because they have four 4 stars?

They’re about to build one with a lazy river.

Some notable g6 teams ahead of us: liberty, San Jose state, western Michigan, San Diego state, south Alabama, Fresno state, James Madison, Kent state, UConn, Texas state, central Michigan, Marshall, charlotte, sMU (but they are acc bound and have better facilities), Arkansas state, Tulsa, northern Illinois, Tulane, western Kentucky, Ohio, north Texas, Toledo, FAU, charlotte, Miami oh, Memphis, southern Mississippi, Appalachian State, boise state, Colorado state, UNLV, usf and east Carolina.

We have the WORST ranked p4 class.

NCAA will be a forever arms race/money pit. Tech’s NIL collective pays every football player a minimum of $25k/year; UT’s OLine gets $50k/yr, but they haven’t disclosed their minimum player payment, but some estimate it’s around $50k/yr.

What is east Carolina offering? They are the highest ranked g6.

Don’t care about rankings. I like Dana.
