I don’t have an On3 subscription, so I can’t see what this article says. But interested in hearing if @Joprior23 has any kind of update. Or are we just in “wait and see” mode with Tugler/NBA?

He cut his list form 8 to 5, for us to make the cut means we are still on him

247 took away Harwells 5th star. He’s now rated a 97 instead of a 98.
247 upgraded Cenac from a 98 to a 99.
Any reason why?

The biggest question is will he come with Jojo here? I have said we need a veteran big regardless, in my opinion.
If he can look past just the first season having the opportunity to learn/condition with the program it will be an outstanding opportunity.
247 changes not changes to harwell as to why he’s losing his 5th star… they raised the bar for what they consider 5star
previously 25-ish 5star a year. 247 has changed it this year to 12-ish…he would qualify him for 5star any year before this

You think there’s a lot of top end talent in the 2025 class?
he will be a 1 and done… in 75% of scenerios … he doesnt have lottery stock, but he has late 1st early 2nd stock… and would likely be gone even around that rating

I told you guys we would continue to recruit him. It just got harder with Cenac in the fold.
But that goes out the window if Tugler is off to the NBA. Peat would really like that situation.

Would we rather have a seasoned Tugler back or a raw freshman with tons of talent in Peat coming in, I would think we would want Tugler back, he would be a beast next year

100% of the time you take a battle tested Tugler. But his stock is on the rise right now, I fully expect him to test the waters and if he stays on the high end of the second round or borderline first he’ll be gone.

If Jojo is getting feedback that he’ll be drafted in the 1st or 2nd rd he’s gone. He already lost a season last yr from an injury and if he does come back next season (and has another major injury) that will set him back significantly (not being drafted in '26 and potentially having to sit out the '25-'26 season).
