Would you say we are the favorites to land Koa if Tugler does in fact leave and is the decision timeline going to be an issue if it isn’t already? I don’t know why I feel like this maybe it’s because I’m guessing Tugler won’t make his final decision months and months from now but I feel like Koa is going to commit elsewhere due to our situation at Houston being fluid and then Tugler is going to play well enough down the stretch to decide to leave and enter the draft and we’ll have neither of the two next year

I’m also excited in watching UH high priority Junior County… I wonder how HIGH on the rankings he’ll move up by time he starts his senior year. I’m ambitious and say he’ll crack the Top 10 by then.

Yeah, I think the recruiting “experts” just made their mind up about him and then moved on. He will be a Sharp level addition to this team.
We already knew this but this also shows that Sampson doesn’t pay attention to national rankings and scouts and recruits kids based on his (or his staff’s) evaluations. We don’t end up with legends like Roberts, Shead, White, etc. if we recruited based on hype and not skill, effort, and character. Looking at you Memphis and Army!

What is the story with Shelton Henderson. The Bellaire star is going to Duke but it doesn’t look like we were ever in on him.
Just curious.
We were definitely in on him. Once Duke offered and became a legitimate thing, we backed off.

I’m happy with Harwell. He offers more on offense imo. Both are pretty big & strong wings. It is what it when it comes to Henderson going to Duke.
