Darryn Peterson will be the best player in this class. Kobe Jr
Top 4 in the class are special. Outside of the Top 4, Cenac has the biggest potential & upside. Wildcard.
I think if Tugler stays Koa goes to another school is my gut feeling. You just never know with Nil tho. Jo has said UH has as much money as any other school in the country. It just comes down if there willing to pay it for a player who may come off the bench.
Enjoy the top guys while you can. Most likely, they are one-and-done in college. Certainly Dybantsa is.

Common thought (#1) seems to be Peat might choose to be Coog if Tugler leaves, but will not if Tugler stays.

Common thought (#2) is If Tugler stays, he and Cenac start in the frontline (say at the 4 and 5 in whatever order).

Common thought (#3) is Peat wants to start AND play on the perimeter wherever he goes.
So question…why couldn’t all 3 (Cenac, Tugler, Peat) be starters?
If not, why? Do you think is it more about Peat can’t be a 3 in college? That he shouldn’t be 3 in college? Other players (or recruits) more deserving or needed at the 3? Sampson won’t start 2 freshman? Etc. I know we might have some logjams on paper, but is that one not solvable?
I’m interested to hear opinions.
Also, why is starting the end all, be all?! Arceneaux doesn’t usually start but he still gets 21 minutes per game, same as Tugler. Right now between Roberts and Francis there is going to be 45.1 available minutes per game next season. I know we’ve got McFarland coming back but I image he will be limited, especially coming back. And I think Lath leaves in the portal which adds another 6.2 minutes. I think there will be plenty of minutes to go around if Peat comes

If they come, they will play. But there’s no guarantee that they’re gonna start.
I mean, look at this team now, It’s pretty clear now why Mylik is playing as much as he is and mercy is not Getting the minutes that people think he should be getting.
Master P (mercy’s dad) mentions it in several different interviews recently. Freshman at Houston wait their turn w Sampson, But they are given a chance if they can come in and impact winning.

Reed Shepard and many others did not start as freshman but were still lottery picks.
But most kids feel like it’s a slight….even if they get just as many or more minutes than the starter.
NBA scouts don’t care if you start on your college team.
Coaches have to convince kids of that line of thinking.
