Iām not. I know he was in the mix for top Texas player in the class going into his Sophomore year of HS before injuries derailed that season and his Jr year. I just think if Holt comes to UH Bryce wonāt be in the 9-man rotation. Probably 10th man or in the rotation if there are injuries. Probable starter in 27-28.

UH offered early. It was always a race between BYU and USC.
UH has an amazing 5 open scholarships for 2026-2027.
And if Tugler leaves we have 6.

Makes the most sense Bama and UH already have people at his position. Heāll slide right in the lineup at Zona. If Harwell had a great year and was expected to leave, he may have chosen UH.

Agree @uncleju. To me, it makes more sense to focus on a player who has been with your program for a year and continue to develop him, rather than turn the page to someone new. Understandably, peopleās perception of Harwell is based on his performance at UH, which Harwell himself, would tell you is not where he wants to be. Give Harwell a healthy Spring, Summer, and Fall and see his improvement.

I think the signs were all there for him going to AZ. If youāre our resident gloomy gus is because we lost to them. I doubt thatās the real reason, but whatever.
For 2026 itās going to be quiet on the HS recruiting I think weāre done there. Expect us to be very active in the transfer portal this year

Think we are done this season with our two guys. Heavy transfer portal, would like to assume we are trying to get guys who have multiple years of eligibility left.
