2026 recruiting, 2026 roster - eligibility

The only way it works for everyone to play is TA coming off the bench as a small ball 4.

We could start Milos, Pop, Sharp.
Only room for 2 reserves off the bench so I will say Flemings and Harwell with Mercy competing.
Then Sakho and TA back up bigs.

I meant as an average. Arceneaux wouldn’t give you two 15 point games out of ten

This. It sounds like we are about to have a 10 man rotation lol. We have more talent than we know what to do with!

Chase & mercy jack up 1,000 3s many nights out of the week! I see it on their social media frequently

TA isnt a big though. He’s a shooting guard with small forward size. Also, Pop is coming off of a recent hip surgery. TA will definitely play a bunch of minutes

Maybe. I don’t see Isaacs matching LJ’s productivity, either, and that’s what it would take to average 15.

Doesn’t really matter what Arceneaux or Isaacs MIGHT average - as I said, the point of my comment was that there are too many uncertainties around Isaacs to just slot him in as a starter after having a second hip surgery to deal with an issue that’s been ongoing for several years.

When you add in the fact that we’re going to have what looks like a loaded roster next year, scoring 15 ppg is gonna be tough for anyone not named Sharp (or Uzan).

And his assist:turnover ratio is kind of abysmal for a PG, so that’s a pretty big question mark when it comes to getting PT.

But other than that, sure - put him down for 15.

This is the part so many folks can’t wrap their heads around. As currently constructed, this team will literally be able to sub all 5 positions at once and not have a huge drop-off in production. Like CKS said before, ā€œWe ARE the Jonesesā€

So, if Pops comes and Milos goes, who will be taking Cryer’s spot? Harwell? Flemings?

I’m assume Cenac replaces Roberts, but you know what they say about ā€œassume.ā€

I highly doubt he’s gonna be asked to come in and play PG (assuming Milos comes back). He’s just another 3pt shooter with experience like LJ.

I think that’s the role he’ll have either way, but he’ll be a different kind of scorer than LJ - not as automatic from 3 but better able to get to the basket and draw fouls. If Milos is here and Pop is healthy, that backcourt with Isaacs and Sharp will be tough.

If Milos isn’t here, I can see Isaacs sharing the PG duties to some extent with Flemings, unless Jefferson is farther along than it looked last year.

Harwell is going to get a lot of minutes, though, and I expect Mercy to be in the rotation, too.

This roster is going to look different than what we’ve seen before, so it’s kind of hard to point to specific roles that this year’s team played and tie them to the new guys.

In the All American game Harwell did not start. By the second half they couldn’t keep him off the court. Plus Harwell chose to guard AJ (BYU commit) in the second half. AJ was asking for picks from big man to free himself up. I do not see how Coach can keep him on the bench and if Milos leaves he starts easily. Terrence would need to play like a first rounder if he wants to start. Since Harwell is projected as such.

This is such a great problem to have. Iron sharpens iron. I feel like a Georgia/Bama/Ohio State football fan. We’re just STACKING talent!!
