Last post with him in Houston gear is early June
BOOM!!!
What’s the dl on him?
This kid is a God. I was at his game versus George Ranch last year. He ran for 450 on like 12
Carries. Not joking
He’d be a top 300 if he was a hair faster….
But yeah, kid is a beast.
My nephew plays with him at SJ… rumor was he was going to Vanderbilt or Washington State…
He decommitted from Wazzu
Smart kid
Guessing size is on the small side? Insane stat for not having big offers
Typical scouts “overthinking”. 5’10-5’11 is perfectly fine for a RB. I don’t understand the fixation on running backs having to be tall. A lot of defenders say they hate the smaller RBs bc they are harder to tackle. I think it’s a bigger problem in recruiting rankings, for football and basketball. At some point we have to simplify these recruiting rankings. Production has to always be first and foremost, then talent and other intangibles. Leading rusher in Texas HSFB, 2nd leading rusher is all of HSFB. Idc what height or weight you did that at, that’s darn near impossible. And we are now at a point where you can do the .01% and not even get a 4th star lol. Way too much time spent on clout chasing or boxing talent into looking certain way. Not enough time spent on the love of football and those who produce at all shapes and sizes. That has always been the beauty of football. Yes, Tom Brady and Lamar Jackson are both really good QBs, who play the position in completely different ways, different body types, different swaggers. At the risk of sounding like an old head, used to be if someone broke every record in hs, they were a bad man, and recognized as that. Now we have “sleeper recruits” who lead the state in rushing yards and rushing TDs, this ain’t Maine, this is Texas lol. Anyways thanks for listening to me rant I had time today.
The height of the top 5 NFL rushers of all time:
Emmitt Smith is 5’9"
Walter Payton is 5’10"
Frank Gore is 5’9"
Barry Sanders is 5’8"
Adrian Peterson is 6’1"
Height is not as important as speed, quickness and vision. A good offense and offensive line doesn’t hurt either.
The scouts simply suck and Fritz rules. He knows how to build a program and he knows how to find what he needs in a player.
He doesn’t own a cell phone. Vandy, Cornell, service academies. Smart guy.
UH found a great one.
Fritz turns over every rock
that rock was 12 miles away
We will probably end up in the top 4 in the Big 12 once we add more commits, hopefully a few more 4 stars. Right now, we only have 15 commits which puts us at 9th.
Former TCU commit. Big dude
