Preferred walk on?
Liam Riley is another Weatherford recruit.
Three star.
According to his X page, 6-1, 215, 4.49 forty, “ATH,” also apparently wrestles.
Only drawback?
Appears to have had ACL surgery last month, based on his feed.
Riley appears to be another versatile athlete and high quality individual. A great culture guy. Get well from your ACL surgery. Your future is bright at UH.
I can’t find him listed as a three star on any recruiting websites
If we have a winning season this year and make a bowl game, it’ll be a great step for the program with this recruiting class coming in.
I see 6-7 wins on the schedule, and possibly 8 if offense is slightly above average

7/5/25 Unfortunately during a 7v7 practice about a month ago I injured my left knee making a play on a pass. After many visits with Doctor’s and Specialists it was determined that I tore my ACL. I’ve gone through successful ACL Surgery and have been in recovery for 2 weeks. While these unfortunate circumstances have occurred, I’m in good spirits and know the best is yet to come for me. God is good and my football journey isn’t over and though the recovery process is long, I’m built for it!
The dude’s got some QUADS on him.
Take quality of recruits over quantity.
Headline in Houston Post in 1980s had Baylor basketball taking a lead in SWC recruiting.
Baylor signed 3. Houston 1.
But Coogs signed Rickie Winslow, a consensus top 5 high school player from Yates, and who made the pivotal basketball in Final Four win over Virginia.

As it stands right now, there is a feeling that the Houston Cougars are in the best spot to land Graves. It seemed like he was set to commit earlier this week, but a person matter pushed that decision back. There is confidence coming from Houston that if he did make a commitment, he would have chosen to play for head coach Willie Fritz and his staff.
Also in play are Wake Forest, Texas State, Missouri, Washington State, and Tulane. All have been in contention as of late. However, it seems like the Cougars remain in the best spot as of this point. Houston commit and five-star quarterback Keisean Henderson is working hard behind the scenes to make sure Graves ends up with the Cougars.
Could this be what Kei was talking about?
Please please please
Wrestling is a tremendous sport for kids in HS.
I wrestled, I had my son wrestle……if you come across athletes that wrestled it will tell you he is a tough SOB.
A wrestling practice is 10x tougher than any other sport I have played……and cutting weight is brutal, you have to have full dedication to your goal.
Bottom line, football guys that wrestle are flat out dudes you want on your team.
I played football and then quit to do wrestling. In my first conditioning session I fully regretted my decision. Then I became very strong and fit and I loved it. Wrestling is a fantastic sport.
Would put UH class top 30. Another 4 star please
I lettered in football and wrestling in HS.
Both are great sports!
I never wrestled. But I watched Vision Quest back in '85. They didn’t look all that tough
I watched it, not for the wrestling, but for Linda Fiorentino.
Matthew Modine was actually pretty accurate….
The rest of it, not so much.
Wasn’t Ed Oliver a wrestler? Yeah, my son was on the HS wrestling team until he went all in with ice hockey.
