Some good looking signees!
Sooooo is Kei Henderson having a signing ceremony or something that would delay us announcing his letter? Just wondering…
Yep we’re waiting lol
2pm today.
Our Martin Marroquin on late flips in the class:
Looks like just waiting on Kei and Paris Melvin announcements now.
Hope no last minute big money thrown at Henderson
^^^^^^^^^^^^
Oh yes I remember those guys ! Hope we can recruit some more like that .
Go Coogs !
OUTSTANDING ! I am so glad to see the close attention of the Fertitta Family …we are so blessed.
Go Coogs !
Trez Davis going to Washington, thought he’d come here after visit and decommiting from Tulane.
Damn
Yup, that sucks bigly. I guess we’ll have to focus on transfers. Also, maybe Austin Carlisle moves to slot WR?
@Joprior23 any word on other WR prospects?
That sucks on Davis but keeping Amare Thomas and adding from portal would be just fine.
I think it depends on what Weigman decides to do.
Weigman in his final year of eligibility:
- Transfers to a school where he doesn’t have to compete for QB1
- Declares his intention of pursuing the NFL
- Decides to stay and compete
If Weigman leaves, I think Austin slides into QB2.
If Weigman stays, I think Austin slides into a slot due to his incredible speed.
Regarding WR prospects, Amare Thomas is staying, and Stephon Johnson may be able to get an extra year of eligibility due to injury. if Stephon can get a Medical RS waiver, we may be all set on WR for 2026. He made an IG post when he got hurt that led to the assumption of a Medical RS: “I’ll be back next year”.
