Apparently downtown San Francisco is becoming the armpit of the world thanks to their misguided progressive policies.
Trends matter.
Also I don’t remember anyone talking about core inflation in December 2021 because it wasn’t the bigger number. Now it is.

Turkey is a good spot to be a tourist as is Argentina
I have been to Turkey, no thanks.
Investing is fun if you know what you’re doing. I don’t, which is why I have Fisher. They have done very well by me.
Why no Turkey?
The wife and I went to Istanbul a couple years back and loved it. Wife stayed for almost a month and I stayed for ten days. We spent half of my trip at her cousin’s house and half at a hotel across the street from Topkapi Palace (Sirkeci area).
It maybe helped that the cousin is dating a really rich guy, so a couple of trips up the Bosphorus on his yacht didn’t hurt my opinion.
Obviously helped to have someone there that knows the language for the first five days of my trip. But communication was no problem for us when we were away from the cousin. Everyone spoke great English (better than us Americans).
I loved the people, the food, the history, the architecture, everything.
We have delayed going back to visit again due to the elections, but seems like thing will stay peaceful for now. Don’t want to be over there when a coup takes place…

Interesting graphic. I was kinda surprised to see Houston so much
higher than Dallas. Dallas, still home to more $35,000/yr millionaires than
any place else.
