Demin needs to improve his handles and decision making immensely before going pro, something I think he will have better success doing in college.
I feel like he’s really a SF who is masquerading as a PG. Most of the times I saw BYU he was among their least impressive players. But it makes a BIG difference when he plays under control, something he did in one of the (can’t remember which one) tournament games.

Yeah I figured Demin was gone, but the last day or two I started to hope a little lol. He got better though the season and he’d have been an absolute monster as a sophomore.
I think he liked BYU, but if you are going to be lottery pick you enter the draft.
BYU fans are trying to talk themselves into thinking Wright III is coming from Baylor. Everyone with a smart agent will engage BYU if they can. BYU will be a top 5 NIL program next season, so it will be a tactic to drive up offers.
BYU needs at least a good PG and big in
the portal.
I don’t think any portal players for BYU are planning to test the waters and come back this season. There are lots of rosters spots open.
The discussion on SicEm was sad. They have lost their entire team they say and are frustrated with CBB. Can’t say I blame them. They are mad at Wright, but if you are literally the last guy on a team, you leave if you have options. Tough offseason for Baylor.

The top teams in the B12, Tech, Arizona, Baylor, Kansas and Houston all should be better next year, if ISU and BYU can come back strong the B12 should return to the best BB conference.

Hung out with a former BYU walk-on last night and a bit today. Nice guy (ofc). Fun to talk basketball with him. He got to play in an NCAA tournament game against Oregon.
