I’m younger I guess but the heat is seriously not that bad. Wear a hat and drink water. I also think our fanbase is just incredibly soft and a dome or canopy won’t magically build the fanbase

I mean I go to the games and sit in the same sun as everyone else. Guess I’m just built different.
Good for you. I do too. But this fanbase is used to air conditioning and roofs to watch ballgames. It’s probably the number one excuse of the millions of excuses why fans don’t go to games.
Those opposing fans don’t have Houston heat. They don’t have the humidity. And their opinions on the matter aren’t relevant anyways. And they could still add lights. Lol
Y’all can keep dreaming but there is no way the expense could be justified. If Coogfans wanted AC they should have come out to the Astrodome. But I’d much rather have an on campus stadium

Then coogfans shouldn’t ever complain about an afternoon game. It shouldn’t be brought up as an excuse.
We can prefer night games but the networks decide, so it’s out of our hands

Aggies, Longhorns, etc. do complain about the heat. The Aggies have designated indoor cooling zones in the stadium that are always full in September. And people regularly pass out from heat exhaustion. You’re just on Coogfans instead of TexAgs so you don’t see it.

If the Coogs are playing, I will sit in any kind of weather to watch them. That doesn’t mean that I don’t think our climate sucks. I have lived here my whole life, and have never gotten used to the heat and humidity.
Give me 10 below any day.

I keep meeting people from Chicago and Boston and ask them why they moved, they say the weather. They don’t miss those winters

I’ve been in below zero weather quite a bit over the years. But I do have to admit, I never had to shovel snow. I could see how that could be a dealbreaker for many people.

I have lived in below zero (even had to shovel snow) and in the Houston heat. This wouldn’t be for the diehards on Coogfans. It doesn’t even need to be what is in that photo. But something like this is needed for the majority of this specific fanbase, who have very specific complaints.

I could care less what these puf beneficiaries think. Give us a couple of $Billions and we will have ice tea together. Until then my middle finger has an itch.
This post might be just an indication that we/admin is working on a possible cover solution. Either was it will be mega bucks.
The heat is not going away, just condition yourself for it so you are used to it.
