Dustin, Musk used the term “blackout” for the AP lack of reporting that this killer entered illegally in 2022 and was a known criminal. Since then, after the fury of criticisms hence the updates AP is reporting it.
Fact:
AP did not report the main fact that he entered illegally and was a known criminal.
The press either report the facts or they do not. You can’t have half of the story “hidden” otherwise that is propaganda.
That’s not what Elon said and you have no idea what his intent was. Quit acting like you do.
We know what he said.
You’re full of it. He didn’t say that and you can’t know his intent. First, a “medua blackout” is not something that woulfd only be affecting the AP, it would be across many or all news outlets. Second, the post Elon was boosting also did not make any distinction that it was just the AP. The community note correctly pointed out that there was no media blackout, Elon then went and removed that community note.
You’te just wrong here but thanks for at least trying to address the media blackout claim. I think we have beat this topic to deatrh. Also, don’t be surprised when someone flags your post that clearly went political and it gets hidden.
You are full of it? That is clearly what Musk expressed. We disagree and that is fine with me.
That’s not what he said. You’re playing mind reader.
No, it is not.
Were you there? Let that sink in. ![]()
New news. Some investors campaigning against the pay package and against reelection of two directors (including Elon’s brother).
Musk threatening to strip his own company of AI and Robotic development and take those product development outside of TESLA, he knows this would harm TESLA immensly and pretty much has said that TESLA would be nothing without those products he’s quoted as saying. This is highly unprecedented for a CEO to threaten destruction of his own company. Not thinking of the shareholders at all. Just his own interest. He caused his own problems by cashing in his Tesla stock by the billions to buy Twitter. Now he basically wants to blackmail his own board who are shareholders as well, to give him what he wants 25% of the stock, of TESLA which he had before until he frittered it away on buying Twitter. I was the board I would remove him from the CEO position and file a court order to prevent him from carrying out his threats. His ego is out control. Reason why folks probably aren’t buying TESLA I’m sure because of him it seems, some people have made the decision they just don’t like the man therefore his cars.
Part of the problem here is the board shouldn’t let him. Sure they could sell or spin off those divisions but the shareholders would have to be compensated and approve. Either way, sounds like a recipie for shareholder lawsuits at the least. He obviously doesn’t understand or doesn’t care about his fiduciary duty to shareholders.
Musk is bad, terrible, dictator…You guys are hilarious. By the way the Cybertruck is doing really well. I am seeing more and more of them.
Unsold Teslas piling up in a parking lot of an empty mall in NJ and across the country.
“This reminds me of the ending scene of Citizen Kane when the camera is panning through a huge warehouse of art and artifacts collected by the great Mr. Kane.” - from the comments section and it seems about right.
You are hilarious thinking he should be immune from valid criticism.
He defends his guys so, so hard. It’s very weird, daddy issues maybe?
I can somehow picture him having a shrine to 45, Elon and Roger Stone in his home.
Valud criticsm? You have been at Musk’s throat since he “liberated” twitter/x.
Off couse he deserves some critics. Nobody is perfect.
Liberated? ![]()
Has anything I have posted or said about him not been valid criticism? Especially with his wild decisions at Twitter that has caused it to be worth less than half what he paid for it? Please provide examples.
Generally when it comes to Twitter, I’m just in amazement at the decisions and lack of planning he has made in that acquisition. It isn’t a political issue for me, I look at it from a business perspective.
Also, I know some of what you consider criticizing Musk was just me pushing back on ridiculous statements made by his defenders.
Why have you been jumping in front to take every bullet aimed at Musk since he purchased (or “liberated” to use your words) Twitter? Has there been any criticism you have not rushed to defend him from?
Come on now…it’s a French thing.
X has been liberated from those nasty advertisers. You know, the guys that
pay the bills.
