With UZAN UH moves through the Dance. With Harwell he’s gonna play like a young guy, usually at the worst possible moment. Let that sink in…
I don’t know if Harwell went through another growth spurt but he looks much taller than I thought. His length is definitely something that’s bothering the opponents shooters.
Harwell started off the season a little slow while trying to grasp Sampson‘s defensive rotations but he seems to be getting it now. Over the last month, his intensity and defensive rotations have improved a lot. He’s not only staying in front of his man but he’s starting to look the part as a lock down defender.
Uzan is still a good defender as well at 6’4”. He’s also a great ball handler that can run the offense and keep the ball moving. That’s another part of Harwell’s game that keeps getting better and better.
Idk, I don’t necessarily think Uzan needs to be demoted as a starter. I just see Harwell getting more and more minutes as he shows consistency defensively. The shot is starting to drop, but suspect Sampson is playing him more because of his defense.
those beams hold the roof of the building up, take them out and the building collapses
Last conversation he had with him
Baylor’s Foster Pavillon/Arena is indeed nice. Not a bad seat in the gym. We were in Section 206. In the second half, the Coogs completely shut down the energy in the building. I asked my wife, are we at basketball game or in the library? Cenac and Harwell getting mighty comfortable shooting the ball. Harwell has a nice form and shot…nice looking shot. He’s getting confident firing up that 3-ball. GO COOGS!!!
Confidence isn’t an issue with Harwell. He just needs to settle in. He will get there.
We were in 110 behind the Baylor bench. Lots of empty seats in our section.
Uzan is the stabilizer. He will not panic and lead the team thru tough moments in the game…freshman will be freshman no matter how talented.
Question on the edges at Foster. Are they as steep as they look on TV?
WACO! That’s why. LOL

Harwell is going to be freakin awesome next year and better each month.
Good points…I have not given up on Uzan just yet…coach isn’t going to sit him as long as he is playing solid defense and getting assists. Plus Uzan proved himself a year ago when we needed it most and I have a feeling he will get his shot back.
Harwell is going to be really good and I think he is a much better shooter than he has shown. Him and McCarty are no doubt our two best scoring threats off the bench so far but we must remember they are both freshmen, although Mac is a redshirt. frosh.
Really good effort today on the road but we cannot afford a let down against most of the teams in this conference.
Uzan helped lead us to the national championship game. As intriguing as it sounds I don’t see a time or place in this cosmos where Harwell takes his place as a starter.

I think there’s an echo in here.
Me too. I was just gonna comment on how timely and brilliant Chris’ posts were becoming
Uzan has built up enough equity with me to start. There is no one on the roster that should replace him as a starter.
One stat I always look at is FG attempts, it gives you a good gauge of how well we played Sampson ball. Today, we almost doubled up Baylor. 74-41. That is ridiculous
By the by the Rule of 64 was applied to The Bears.
