Game 16: #7 Houston @ Baylor (W 77-55)

I’d say the bench turned a corner, wouldn’t you? 21 points, 16 rebounds 3 blocks, 3 steals and no turnovers is pretty solid

I was starting to think about this in the 2nd half. I think team defense got better with Harwell on the court. He’s also a better rebounder than Uzan.

uzans shooting has been a nasty surprise but unless he also becomes a turnover machine 0 shot he gets benched

the interesting discussion is would it be better to have harwell on the floor in crunch time

Uzan is no cryer. I would star the 3 freshman

Wish Uzan had a pull up jumper, instead of dumping the the ball to someone, making them heave a bad shot up with 4 or less seconds left.
Biggest grip I have about him. Uzan going to be a hero in some coming games. Its coming but Harwell is going to eat into his minutes.

The next part of Harwell game is putting it on the floor.

His drive to the rim need some improvement.

Harwell is a guy who could guard AJ Dybantsa. Bother him with his length. Help on the boards for sure

Harwell, hasn’t shot the ball well this season. And yet, hes still shooting better from 3pt than Milos

(15 of 49) = Harwell

(24 of 91) = Milos

0/15 from the field vs. Big12 teams regular season and conference tournament. It was diabolical. We’d cheer so loud for him the last 4-5 games to finally knock one down.

He played smart and under control. Contributed. Good for him

I think staggering King and Los minutes might be the benefit for both - and have Milos play with the other shooters so he can be the initiating at the point of attack and driving.

Yes, the seats are steep…feels like a forward lean. It’s a nice arena.

@Chrisnumbers continue to start Milos. But his shooting % is becoming Shead & Deeky like

Shead with Cryer & Sharp. Was so tough

Milos w/ 2 shooters, was great last yr.

Flemings with Sharp & (insert shooter). Our offense efficiency would probably be Top 15.

Still currently at 26th on KenPom, offensive efficiency

Seems like coach Sampson is feeding the ball to JoJo to start the game and get him going, just like J’wan Roberts last year.

JoJo’s hook got pretty good in the off season.

Yeah, and to loosen up the defense
