Like UCLA. University of China-LA.
I donāt know but my uneducated football thought
Id rather our team start slow then bring the hammer in the second half
It seems like under Dana it was reverse
Different comment. We had tickets for the 2023 game and this year on the Rice side. It appeared to me that Rice has significantly increased their āTEE Shirtā fan base." from 2023.(Good for them)". Not a judgmental person of character on appearance, but many, many fans did not look like they were Rice graduates / students / or even affiliated. If Rice can attract Tee shirt fans WTF does U of H have to do?
WIN!
WIN!
WIN!
We tee shirt fans are pooring right now.
Damn, I guess our similar logos confused them lol.
Wrong! Scored 83 points in a beatdown of Division II Pittsburg State while coaching at Central Missouriā¦

Ouch! Utah? Unforgivable !
IME most experienced high level staffs prefer to start pretty vanilla, feel things out, and make the opponent show their cards first.
Then they use that info disparity to make key adjusts they will use in a timely and unexpected manner in later higher leverage moments when the opponent wants to go back to the well.
We should have higher aspirations for rivals.
Had to sell my tickets. Its Friday night and that means high school football. Many people have kids who play, are in the band, or on the drill team/cheerleaders. We are no longer in Conference Rinky Dink. Play college football games on SATURDAY and I will be there.
Just like basketball Rice has to play us at TDECU or no game. Rice wanted home and home in basketball and we told them Fertitta or no game. Rice chose no game. So if Rice wants us on their football schedule all games will be at TDECU.
Great job Coogs!
In 4 quarters our offense managed to score 4 times. Dean Conner scored twice on runs of 54 and 42 yards. The drives were 5 plays and 3 plays. we had a 2 play drive with a 76 yard pass. We only had one sustained dr of 15 plays that ended in a score. The defense actually broke the game open with a pick 6.
One sustained drive in 4 quarters of football by a team that is supposed to be a ball control offense.
Just curious, what is your justification for this stance? And can you confirm that the UH basketball stance on home and home with Rice is accurate? I have not seen this.
I am on the āwe should continue to play Riceā side. I mean itās basically an extra home game, easy-ish opponent, and with the ambience of a real rivalry game.
I remember when I was a student the Rice game was something to look forward to- Ruck Fice anyone? Last night is probably going to be the biggest attendance at Rice stadium all season and the most profitable as well since it looks like we drank all of Riceās beer by halftime.
Bottom line is, the closest thing to āa true rivalry opponentā we have is Rice and we should nurture this not throw it away. Plus I thing this is a net positive for the city of Houston since it promotes a healthy level of intra-city rivalry and itās a basically a home game no matter where the game is played.
Exactly. This offense still sucks. Passing game is awful
And I am on the no side. There is no upside to beating Rice and a huge downside to losing to them.
