One of the best PF to play for the Coogs was Larry Micheaux and he went on to have very successful 15+ year playing career overseas only.

Hmmm…I followed Rockets very very closely since arriving in ‘71’ and I don’t remember that. We’re abt same age so if your memory says he did then I assume he did. It had to be brief. Most of his career was in Spain etc, he would come home to his place in Sugarland during off-season. I think he still resides in Sugarland/

kudos to you!! looked it up n he did spend his first 2 yrs jumping around playing for 3 Teams–Rockets being one. He is regarded as one of top rebounders that ever played in Spanish League. Also played in Italian League. Point being if you’re a Specialist in one area you can make nice career as a PRO.

That’s why I’m little caught off guard…hehe. Because my memory is impeccable to those kind of thgs. I remember every little detail from Sporting events in 70’ ,80’s but fast frwd to the last 10 yrs …psshh. Priorities I guess take over. I turned 61 couple mos ago but have now lived in 8 decades maybe that’s the issue.

I hear you. I can remember so much from my youth but my middle ages are a blurr. I can remember so many Rob Williams passes and buckets like it just happened but have to watch the cougars now about three times for it to soak in.

Love Gorham and I think he is no doubt the most improved player on the roster but I shutter to think where this team would be without Deeky.

The degree that he’s improved from last year to this year is INCREDIBLE!!
Reminds me a lot of PJ Tucker and could definitely see him playing in the NBA.
