Every coach on the fan hot seat was given a free pass into the Big 12. So far only the football coach has been let go. TBD on softball, tennis and baseball.

I can’t speak to tennis but softball and baseball were big issues before moving into the Big 12

No more excuses.

If a baseball change is not made after this season then why even have a baseball program.

And if our AD can’t multitask he needs to be gone as well.

I think the breaking point for me was watching the program deteriorate while the team committed base-running error after error. I don’t mean aggressive base-running. I mean struggling little league full of substitutes bad.
Everyone outside UT hated Augie (except Kevin Costner) but that SOB was intolerant of sub-standard basics. I know he was an exception but that mofo took the fundamentals seriously. I can’t stand that devil-may-care stuff.

And I’ve heard my share of the pitiful attempts at recruiting.

I know some of you guys are throwing out other programs like, Tennis, WBB, and Softball. Do you really put those programs on the same level as Baseball? I sure don’t.

I put WBB on par with baseball.

Similar attendance. Similar head coaching salaries.

The WBB facilities are outstanding. Baseball’s seem solid.

The last two Sundays I picked up the Dallas Morning News and neither sports page had anything on college baseball except maybe the scoreboard. Of course it’s a pro market with Stars, Scheffler, Mavs, NFL Draft, Rangers and high school but I was surprised I couldn’t find a quarter page of college recaps.

Based on Big 12 teams, their WBB attendance is higher than baseball and there’s more chance to be televised in something other than the Plus.

I just can’t believe the AD would accept mediocrity at best, Harry Fouke wouldn’t accept it.

Not necessarily how I prioritize them but I think from a revenue standpoint WBB will overtake CBB in the next few years.

Are things gonna get better or worse with the 4 teams coming in? How are they at baseball?

ASU is ok
CO doesn’t have a team
Utah is bad

Just want to add that historically ASU is a great program. Top 10 all time in wins and national titles though they have been down recently.

When UH baseball is where it should be it makes far more money than WBB
.That little stadium is so much fun when the team is top 10-20 playing top teams
.LSU at home was legendary.

Whitting has been consistent in exactly the wrong direction. It is NOT good enough for UH’s move on to bigger and better things. My idea is to take Whitting’s buyout out of PEZ’s salary and part ways with him. Plus, we should ask ourselves why PEZ extended 2 below average coaches- CDH and Whitting.
