I find it offensive that he assumes Peggy is a female
Which makes you wonder why he would hire Apple Boy.
I think Saban brings in some of these “staff coaches” because they are cheap as they have been canned and are still being paid by previous schools.
Jalen Emery commits to the Coogs.
Applewhite is not a coach, staff or otherwise, at Alabama. He is an offensive analyst. His job is to review game film and give input to the coaches.
Another 3* and number 3 for the class. Looks like a player.
If only we had accepted the invite into the SEC way back when…
I cleaned it up some for ya. Trying to work also, so grammar mistakes will happen occasionally. Let me know what part you need me to go back over ya.
Joe, my favorite Tom Wilson story was when he told a kid he had to be tough and then stuck himself in the leg with an icepick causing the kid to faint. It was his wooden leg.
I find it offensive that you assume Jess to be male.
Mike with the inside the park Homerun!!
: Go towel off, you da man!!… I think.

He had no offensive line and the Coogs being a “G5” team has little to do with anything; our opponents are “G5” teams as well, so what are you getting at?
I have all the most respect for King in the world and hope he wins the Heisman after all he’s been through, but he too looked limited behind the STARTING OL. So if we’re going to blame someone we need to blame the teacher, not a senior in his first few games in this system and certainly not a true sophomore who lost the same OL that the senior struggled behind.
I don’t think CDH landed in a good situation but there were some positives outside the 4-8 record. We saw the team improve and were a couple of plays away from upsetting two ranked teams.
The team played hard all year long and Holgersen and his staff should get some credit for that
Just looking at our roster next year.
RB - Kyle Porter and Mulbah Car as our two headed monster has me very excited. Mulbah was averaging over 6 yards a carry last season. Porter ran for 600 yards on 5 yards per carry. I really like this duo to lead our backfield.
WR - Absolutely loaded here. We don’t really need to even say anything about Stevenson. Keith Corbin had 10 touchdowns on 700 yards receiving just two years ago. Could easily see Corbin and Stevenson both over 1,000 yards receiving this year. Throw in Jeremy Singleton and Bryson Smith. We have a very formidable rotation here at receiver. Hopefully this is the year that Julon Williams puts it together.
TE - Christian Trahan. Future pro. Has a chance to be the best TE in this conference next season.
OL - Getting Jarrid Williams and Braylon Jones back was huge. A lot of experience with Pancotti and Freeman. Patrick Paul is going to be the next LT that will be NFL bound for us. I really like everything about him. We’ll also have nice depth with Unije, Murphy, and Bardwell. Really like the OL heading into next season.
DL - Bringing in two Juco All-Americans in Sedrick Williams and D’Anthony Jones. Anenih has a chance to be at 10+ sacks this year. We all know what Payton Turner brings to the table. Throw in Olivier Charles-Pierre, Jamykal Neal, Derek Parish, Atlias Bell. We have a ton of bodies to rotate in and out here. Didn’t even mention Nelson Caesar. A borderline 4 star out of high school.
LB - Edgeston, Kirven, Mutin, Robinson, Carmouche Our LB core is extremely deep with 5 guys we can rotate in and out. Zamar Kirven is going to be a Star for us. I really like Mutin as well.
CB - Damarion Williams and Marcus Jones May be the best duo we’ve had at CB. Damarion Williams can completely take away one side of the field. Just like another CB we had here not too long ago. Kelvin Clemmons and Javian Smith as backups to those two just shows you how far we have come from last year to this year.
NB - Grant Stuard and Jovanni Stewart makes this position group extremely good. Jordan Moore will also be here. A nice, three headed monster.
Safety - Anderson, Sprewell, Owens, Hypolite, Vaughn, Mwaniki. As you can see from all of the names I just listed. Probably our deepest position. We’ll be extremely good here.
It’s not unreasonable to say that we will be better at every position group this year over last year. And for some of those groups, in the secondary in particular, we’ll be much better. If Clayton Tune can make some good progress this offseason and stay healthy next year, I wouldn’t be shocked to see us win the conference and play in an NY6 bowl. The talent is there.
Guys that redshirted or weren’t here yet last season:
Mulbah Car
Keith Corbin
Jarrid Williams
Braylon Jones
Sedrick Williams
D’Anthony Jones
Malik Robinson
JoVanni Stewart
Marcus Jones
Kelvin Clemmons
Javian Smith
Gleson Sprewell
Hasaan Hypolite
Thabo Mwaniki
Jordan has taken the time to put it all down.
The roster has been significantly upgraded in just one season. While we didn’t have a great record we were in if not leading just about every game in the 2nd half. We have a much better and deeper roster at every position and now the team has had a year in the system. I just don’t see the reason for negativity.
I am excited about next season.
Well, at least they have the option to ignore him !
Classic !
Many thanks Joprior…you got me pumped. Really need Tune to stay healthy…I could see him putting up some big numbers
