I have seen some “fans” on Twitter comparing Walker to Abreu….not even
Close to being the same.
I will spare everyone a bunch of stats that show Walker had found himself the last 1/3 of the season.
I also am cautiously optimistic regarding the new batting coaches……even if these new guys could not fix a lick of mechanics…. If they could help players get mentally right and have a plan for EVERY AB that would payoff ten fold.

I agree with Jeremy Branham that they will be “respectfull” in spring training and give him a shot but he likely is a DFA or make up an “injury “ for him to save face.
