I’m starting to really like McCarthy off the bench. Walker has had his moments as well but McCarty’s shot is looking pretty good. Samson said he’s one of the best shooters on the team and he’s starting to show it. Plus he has a high release and gets his shot off pretty quick so he’s a good catch and shoot guy.
As the season progresses I’m kind of open to see just Harwell and McCarty off the bench along with Sahko down low. If the game is out of reach then you give some minutes to Miller and or Walker it was actually Walker has looked pretty good, too but he doesn’t have a quick release like McCarty.
We didn’t get nothing (scoring) out of our frontcourt today. Can’t afford to have both of our big men non existent!
He stays
We only played 13 minutes with 2 bigs on the floor. The other 27 minutes had small ball line-up with 4 guards/wings. When we are forced to do the small ball, we are not a very good rebounding team. Thus gave up way too many Off Rebounds to Tech.

That’s correct. Sampson said in the post game interview that we gave up 22 points off of rebounds in the paint. That’s the difference in the ball game, right there

Yep, the rebounding was putrid. We had some other issues this game, but if we had rebounded even marginally better than we did today, we would’ve won the game. It’s just that simple.

The difference and some but lot of that also had to do with how the game was called. Let’s not lose sight of that.

Certain players need to step up . Lots of stading around by the guards and very little to no rebounding from Sakho, McCarty and Walker.
A huge piece to this game is having to play large portions of the game without Cenac and Tugler on the floor due to crap calls while there appeared to be a no call zone for Toppin

Mr. Flemings, I had said before, didn’t show me “WOW!” yet. Welp, he did it last night. That game was a highlight reel. WOW! I hope Mr. Flemings will accept my apology.

He is amazing, we are watching history being made, just imagine if he had to stay three years instead of one like in football he would probably be our best PG in school history

Incredible performance by KF against TT. If he had not ran out of gas towards the end I think he would have got 50 and likely we win the game.
Now all MR. Flemings has to do now is get UZAN the ball.
Kingston does a great job distributing and looking for the open man….but he isn’t gonna force it.
When he can blow by someone and get an open look why would he “get Uzan the ball”?
Especially when you have the hot hand.

Milos had 3-5 times he could have pulled his 3 offf the bounce when he had guys skating.

UH has several options that are available every game. The more options UH has available the more the opposition has to account for them. If Uzan has the ball what are they going to do with Flemings running around loose- or Sharp? If they sell out and sag or double Flemings, Uzan and Sharp will kill them, but they both have to hit shots. Consider Flemings a force multiplier. These are good problems for UH to have.
