Anyone see the preview for The Bikeriders?
That will be the next movie I see in theatres.
I think Austin Butler still thinks he’s Elvis….

My boy wanted to see the latest Planet of the Apes. It was very good, if you’re open to that world.
When I said - okay, agreed with - the word “subjected,” I should have specified “bladder.” If Hollywood is going to continue making Wagner-length productions, they should incorporate intermissions like the old days.
Glad you liked Cabrini.
On Tubi. Its gritty. Sticks to the novel.
Juliette Lewis a good choice for Cutthroat Bill.
Saw this at the movies.
Adult viewing.
VOD right now.
Should stream on Peacock soon.
Anyone see this ?
Playing in Tampa but its 4 hours w the intermission.
Waiting for home viewing.
I streamed “War of the Rohirrim” this last weak.
Fine anime artistry. The story and script were a bit mediocre, but it has a really GREAT heroine!
The Brutalist is one I have wanted to see since I read about it. It’s now playing at my local Cinemark.
True story I went to the theatre to see it when it was first released and the power went out and no sound for about 10 mins one of the weirdest things at the movies I have ever experienced.
I didn’t hate it but I liked the first 3 movies more than this one.
I really need to see Nosferatu
Just got done seeing Sicario for the first time. Fantastic movie.
The shoot out at the border scene is amazing.
If you liked Sicario try No Country for Old Men.
Another excellent film. They released the Criterion Edition recently I believe
Make sure you watched the klaus Kinski version. Truly amazing.
On Peacock tomorrow.
Extended Cut.
More horror. Both on Hulu.
Both on Starz.
Like a John Wick war movie.
I’rewatched The Last Picture Show, Little Big Man and Chinatown and I’m glad I did since I missed a lot the first time around.
Hoffman, Nicholson and Dunaway don’t get enough credit for being great actors, well Jack does somewhat. Cybil Shepherd and Beau Bridges were excellent but that diving board scene made the picture show an instant classic.
I’m somewhat younger than you (early 50s), but I just happened to watch Chinatown and Last Picture Show in the last month myself. Great movies. And Cybil Shepard is one of the all time beauties in my book.
I guess I’m due for Little Big Man. One of my favorite movies of all time. I read the book couple years back as well.
You are obviously a man of fine taste.
I’m in my early 50’s as well.
In the last year I watched Chinatown, French Connection and Serpico for the first time….One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest is great as well.
Took my niece to see Beetlejuice Beetlejuice in October… the theater just ain’t the same but we had a great time and that movie is hilarious!
