“Innovative”. It was sooo hard.
There were posters on this board who are still pissing and moaning about the black uniforms and we have done that for a decade now. It excites the players and I thought they looked fantastic.

Why are you so mad about this? How much of a big deal is this in the grand scheme of things? It truly doesn’t matter. Like, at all. It’s laundry.

That’s an arbitrary standard you have set in your own mind. UH got a crazy amount of positive press the past few days. We wouldn’t have gotten any of that had we rolled out there in our regular red and white. Your argument is essentially saying that getting that press and love is bad for our school and program because it comes from a “gaudy” “gimmick”. That’s insanely unreasonable and irrational to me. You rather us be relatively ignored on opening weekend for our first game as a B12 member because in your mind blue bloods don’t wear alternates (they do btw).

It’s UH and it’s red. It’s part of our history. Works better than something that was never a part of our history, but if only to have the history of the Oilers, much shorter and less meaningful than ours, who at one time bought out our entire coaching staff. Didn’t hear the Oilers and the city praising UH then.
