How is his recruiting at HCU?
That’s a great question. Not sure. I’m not finding a lot of info on HCU in the way of message boards or anything.

I prefer Allen…Just because I know he has really good relationships in the coaching community and is well respected.
I would not complain if Coach Hallmark or Coach Trout were hired….
There are a couple of assistants that are interesting as well.
I think Coach Lafferty of Ole Miss would be an outside the box hire that could be a potential home run.

Lafferty is a great recruiter but I don’t know how good of a coach he is. And I am not sure how much coaching he is allowed to do at Ole Miss as Bianco is a micromanager who likes to control everything. It would be nice if he had some head coaching experience as well.

Ole Miss dead last in SEC by 3 games.
One year after a surprise national title & everyone but Bianco could go.
I don’t think he would leave unless it was for a head job….could be wrong.
Would you promote Ross Kivett?
It’s early in his career.
He will be a HC one day for sure.
The offense has been very good.
Let him work his network to find a pitching coach.
He would not be leaving by choice.

He does not get the keys to a program with the potential of UH heading into the Big 12.
And this is not like football where we are looking at top assistants to take over.
This would be a nice step up for someone like Hallmark or Trout.

Hallmark is about the last guy I would hire. He showed his lack of class by acting like a complete A-hole after Rice beat us in the infamous 20 inning game in the regional that ended about 2AM, including taunting the UH fans behind home plate after the game.

Let it go man….it’s baseball and it can get emotional.
I mean if that’s your reasoning for not hiring a really good coach that has done an amazing job with no facilities and little support then okay…certainly your prerogative.
