Off The Fritz Bandwagon

It was a battle of two very bad teams. Utah may have been even worse in overtime.

LOL yeah good point.

Was it two very bad teams in the first half when the coogs played Iowa St and the score was 0-3? I think it’s easy overlook coogs defense.

Who mentioned Iowa state? Yesterday two very bad teams played and the second worst team on the field won.

I agree both teams are bad hopefully we squeak out one more win, loss to K State, BYU is going to embarrass us at there place, at Arizona on the road who knows and Baylor seems doubtful now unless we have a huge defensive game

It was not a battle of two very bad teams. It was a battle of two mediocre teams
4-4 and 3-5.

On that note, we have four games to beat the Vegas Over/Under.

Had we gotten a QB Transfer (there were many out there) we’d be competing to win the conference
no question about it.

We have the talent!

With our OLine?

Mmmm

Pretty far fetched.

A bad team couldn’t put together a come from behind 4th quarter 85 yard td drive, interception, FG win. People like you can keep trashing your team despite a win. I’ll appreciate the win regardless of the flaws. A win is a win.

Against a worst team, you can. Your logic is not logical.

Yes
even with our O-Line, we would have won the Oklahoma and ISU games and been more competitive in a number of games had we pulled a better QB from the portal (we could do that as a new coaching hire strategy btw).

We see the differences playing Criss over Smith
now imagine a step up from Criss

Utah was 4-3. I didn’t consider that a “bad” team.

That quote is from Animal House. Seems like not knowing this would fuel the cougar high crowd.

Don’t agree.

Smith actually had his best game against OU.

Didn’t matter.

We still lost.

ISU may have been more competitive, but likely still a defeat.

With only one returning O-Lineman and the loss is two of our three most productive receivers, our offense was destined to be mediocre at best.

You think Smith had a good game vs OU???

I guess we were watching 2 different games

Dude.

He was 24 of 28 for 260 yards and a TD.

Which game were YOU watching?

Smith was NOT the reason we lost that game.

That loss wasn’t about QB play.

We lost that on other aspects of the game.

ESPECIALLY our piss poor running game, which was the result of our crappy O-Line.

Utah’s offense is bad. The defense that we scored against certainty isn’t.
