Wondering if having a player of Kevin Durantās stature play in Houston could impact UH basketball recruiting. At the very least, players can see him play live. Maybe Sampson can get Durant to come to Fertitta Center and watch a game or two.

Iām sure heāll come by FC at some point to watch a game but our recruiting is already top tier. We donāt need endorsements from a player Sampson never coached.

Maybe heās talking about the cost to buy 2nd rd draft pick. Portland just trade away 2 2nd rd picks last night. As bad as Portland has been for years, those 2nd rds are like late 1st.
FYI, I read that Rockets trying to get back into the draft this year via trade or buying picks.

Why did you only include stats that only go to the year 2020.
Regardless you can watch highlights, read the stats and think Russell is all Star but heās a detriment to the teams heās on. Plus heās a 36 year old who has always relied on his physical talents
I wouldnāt say heās a detriment to the teams he plays for but at the same time I donāt think Durant has any interest in playing with him so donāt think heās someone we should go after.
Rox are actively trying to trade back into the draftā¦ā¦when I first heard this I thought maybe just buying a 2nd round pickā¦ā¦but apparently they are looking to get back into āthe latter 1/2 of the first roundā.
There are about 4-5 players they are interested in in the fall down the board a bitā¦ā¦did not say which players they were.
One player that intrigues me is Derek Queenā¦.at one time he was listed in the #5-7 rangeā¦ā¦now he is mocked in the #13-16 rangeā¦.everything I have read indicates he is a damn hard workerā¦.i think he will put in the work to get a serviceable 3 point shotā¦.the kid is a beast around the rim.
I get Paolo Banchero vibes when I watch him play.

I like Nique Clifford if rockets get a late teens pick from Nets.
A 6-6 sg who can play defense, shoot & can create for others. Oh yeah and heās ready to contribute.
Grimes would be a perfect fit for the Rockets. Good catch and shoot guy that can knock down three pointers and plays really good defense. Plus, high basketball IQ. This is exactly what Ime wants from his players.
