If we make a change the worst thing we can do is hire for a splash. Get the best coach who can bring in the best staff. If that coach brings a splash with the fan base then that is the cherry on top.

Our success has been with elevating assistants from other programs. Briles, Sumlin, and Herman. I believe that’s the path we need to take.

What has who proven? Deion won 11 games and the SWAC in his second season.

He has been able to recruit well at that level but that doesn’t mean he is ready to coach at this level. TCU didn’t think so either

Lol. Dude has two 5 stars on his team. And the number 1 recruit in the country. Recruiting “well” is a bit of an understatement.

Prime time will be coaching at a major D1 football school in the not-too-distant future. Write it down. Will it be here? Highly unlikely. Someone will take a chance on him though.

No doubt he will do go ahead and write it down. But it is my opinion we will need a solid coach and not a dog and pony carnival.
Love Deion as a person and player but have big doubts he would be good here.
