I don’t know if Coach Prime would have success at this level, but I’d be very interested in him if we had an opening.
There’s almost no way we will have an opening at the end of the season, though, so it’s moot.

All i can think of is Drexler.
Not even comparable…and the comparison is insulting to Deion.
One just took a job with no previous experience and had zero passion to coach and the other methodically worked his was up, putting in the time to learn how to coach.
He’s been in coaching for at least 10 years and started Prime Prep Academy. I recall seeing him coach on a different field than myself out in Tomball. Everyone was going over to get a glance. This is not Clyde 2.0.
Who are you thinking Butch? Traylor?
Saban.
He would have to have legitimate d-1 really good coaches and coordinators…… not buddies he knows.

Yeah, I think he takes a job after this season. I’m sure he was hoping for Norvell to flop to give it one more shot at Florida St. I don’t think he was really trying to get any jobs after last year, took interviews to get the practice. TCU was never going to hire him.
I could see him at Georgia Tech. Louisville possibly or even taking USF if that opens to get into FBS.
Would love Traylor or a rising star assistant.
We don’t need deon. It would be bush league thinking we need a head coach to hype up the program and attendance. P5 teams like Lsu have Kelly who is no hype. If he wins there, all good and if not then he gets fired. Dana just needs good coordinators and if he can then he will have success. If he can’t then it’s on him and we later move in another direction. If I was Dana, I’d start calling my own plays and unleash tune to run and roll out more. The def can’t stop people right now or maybe bc facing dual threat qbs. Against tech we controlled the line on def but our secondary got burned and that qb ran getting first downs like at the end when it was critical. Let’s see how we do vs drop back passers which I think you will see a difference on def.
Why would the Kansas’ coach come here? UH would be a step down. Sorry but its true.
Likely he is heading to UN-L, Iowa (god I wish) or heck, maybe Auburn.
Yes.
I’ve evolved on Deion Sanders. I think he would be a great fit at UH.
He brings marketing, recruiting, and swag to a program that is desperately in need of all three. He. Has a chance to make this program his own and he can continue to win championships.
The city, high schools, and recruits would embrace him. And he will bring local and national buzz not seen since CTH.
Preach it Brother !!! We’d be better the moment he stepped foot on campus
If Deion is going head to head with Bama on recruits at Jackson State, imagine what he can do at Houston.
I’m all for it! However, I don’t think UH will be on Prime’s list.
I think someone else with more vision will take a chance. Our AD and administration will keep serving up more SMU like results.
The honeymoon of actually playing in the Big12 will be brief.
