Sounds interesting, and since I’m home recovering from back fusion surgery I’ll take your recommendation.

Finishing up my Jack Ryan first!

So you’re on the IL? Hope you make it back for the UT game at least.

Thanks fellas.

It was a pretty big surgery….”L-3, L-4 and L-5” were eroded to mostly bone on bone and there is a fracture between L-1 and L-2….been living and coaching in tremendous pain for several years.

Surgery was to be done a couple years back….literally a week before surgery I got COVID( in the beginning before there was a vax or they even knew how to attack….and I’m in really good shape)and was in the hospital quite some time….went to the edge of death and survived.
Anyway, it’s been a couple of years of having to wait for lungs to be in good enough shape to safely get the anesthesia for the surgery….after the surgery the doctor said it looked like I had “played in the NFL for 10 years, retired and had a major car accident the next day”.

So extremely slow for awhile….not even sure when I’ll be able to ride in a car for any length of time….so it may be awhile before I make a game.

But thanks guys……appreciated.

A life goal is don’t give doctors an opportunity to talk about you in any medical journals. Good grief man. Take it easy and feel better.

I finished “Deadloch”. Really crazy murder mystery with lots of lesbians. Not good looking ones either.

Lots of twists and turns coupled with tremendous bouts of overacting.

On Prime

Is it a comedy?

Not really. It is a murder mystery first, quirky second, comedy third.

Ehh, sort of. I think that you should watch GoT as there are some cross references in HoD that only make sense if you have watched GoT. Of course, you could watch HoD (once it is done), then watch GoT back to back. However, HoD is supposed to have four seasons of 8 or 9 episodes each, as the source material is not particularly dense. Considering the writers and actors strike, who knows when the heck HoD will even be back on the air.

You’re confusing me….remember I’m on heavy meds.

Ha Ha, apologies bud.

Yeah, if you are on meds probably don’t want to watch GoT or HoD. Watch the Wire instead!

Re-watched Dark Winds Season 1….

Think I enjoyed it even more tho go round.

Acting, Storyline, Cinematography, etc.

Season Two starts Sunday.

Binge watching Joe Pickett on Paramount +.

Gripping modern day crime drama centered on the life of a game warden and his family in rural Wyoming.

Great acting, writing, direction and cinematography. Every episode has turned into a must see TV opportunity.

Dark Winds is excellent.

Based on Tony Hillerman novel. I have read every single one of his books.

His daughter is one of the Executive Producers.

For a long time Hillerman was Professor Emeritus at The Univ. of New Mexico.

I really enjoy the show.

Usually watch each episode at least twice….

I found a list of the books and plan to read them in order.

Really like that only American Indian actors are used in those roles….

My only complaint is that each season is six episodes.

Upon PollardsV suggestion, I watched Dark Winds. Entertaining show, but the supernatural element could have been left out.

I favor Joe Pickett, but DW is certainly worth a viewer’s time. The mostly Native American cast is refreshing.
