UH Email on New Ticket Technology

Can see where it can be confusing. My ticket has a different look.

Thanks for the tip. I ordered paper tickets for $25.

Mine is Google Wallet. Is yours Apple?

Yes, I figured that was difference after taking another look. I get what they are trying do, but I do expect a few hiccups the first game. Hoping I’m wrong!

Technology changes, it seems, every day. Yesterday my brother sent me my two tickets from his (our) group of 8 season tickets. On my Iphone I got a message that they were received. Today, I’m trying to move them to my wallet, but cannot find them. Not in e-mail, not in my UH account, not in text messages. Where did they go ? ? ? ? ?

Do you have the UH app? They might be there.

Or just go check the Ether.

Seriously, go back and check your notifications to see where that one came from.

I loaded my tickets, then realized I don’t have any parking passes.

I have an app the has UH Athletics. When I signed into my UH account, it shows purchase/manage tickets. Same account I use to collect points at football and basketball games. No tickets show up in purchase or manage option. I have no clue about Ether. I don’t know how to go back to notifications. I’m old and computer illiterate . . . . . In other words, I hate this s***.

If you have an iphone, swipe down from the top of the home screen and you should get a list of your notifications.

When I loaded my tickets in my wallet, only the first game shows for football and basketball are shown. I would feel a lot better if I could look at them all so I would know they were there.

BTW, what does the all in one notation mean?

Finally NFC tech has made its way here! MLB’s had it for years.

Thanks. Nothing from my brother there, either. Just now found them. Came thru as a message from an unknown 5 digit #. Just trying to download the tickets. I have to sign into my UH account, request the download, then select all tickets. Next, I get a message that safari cannot perform the operation. I tried again, now I’m being asked to open an icloud account. This sh*t sucks . . . . .

Last guess before I give up and make a call in the AM. (MY rep is no longer employed at UH so it’s time to aggravate a new one.) Maybe I am being required to use Safari as my web browser. Did I mention I hate this sh*t?

Also remember that with NFC communication it has a short range that is not normally an issue, but in crowds there is a small chance of a person with bad intents can get info from a nearby phone with certain devices.

No, I am not making it up for fear, it was simply a Better Business Bureau article on it from a few months ago. Just a warning to keep phones safe with NFC turned on in a crowd such as in line to get in the stadium.

Any wireless communication has some vulnerabilities.

Parking pass should be in its own email.

I feel your pain Mike. It looks like it works like last year. I only see the next (current) game in my wallet. Once the date passes the next game in order magically appears. Same for parking. Guessing that’s what all in one notation means.
I only got FB tickets but no BB yet. I guess I’ll give it a coupla days before I call and ask about that.

I’m sure you know this already, but you can see all of your tickets in the UH Cougars App when you go into “Manage Tickets.”

That also has your Cougar Pride Membership Card, which does absolutely nothing for you, as far as I can tell.

And I think you should have received basketball tickets already.

Thanks, I didn’t think of that.

I was told, today, while having my ticketing problem taken care of, that BB tickets are not available yet . . . . .
