Dalton Brooks dominated at 2A Shiner and is arguably A&M’s best defender in the secondary
I was going to say, when did Alief get a new high school lol.
All we had was Elsik, Hastings, and Kerr when I was there. They added Taylor right when I graduated.
I was just about to enter Elsik when I moved to El Paso….several of my friends were on the last few really good Elsik teams.
I went to Elsik for a year and Kerr the other three.
At Elsik with Rashard Lewis, i was so sad when the Rockets had three draft picks the year he went and skipped on him all the times.
I seem to remember a guy named Adrien Peterson who turned out alright. ![]()
Hebert plays 6A ball.
Highest level.
AP was at the Ridge Point game tonight.
His son was pretty good at the middle school this past year. His school feeds into Hightower but wouldn’t be surprised to see AP put him at Ridge Point next year
Anyone know Hebert’s numbers from tonight? He has to be getting close to his yardage total from last year. I think he needed about 360 yards.
Strake Jesuit wins 50-35 after trailing 28-13.
Strake vs Dickinson is gonna be a barn burner
49 carries for 350 yards
101 receiving yards on top of it
6 TD
- I hope they are working hard to stave off the SEC schools.
- Strake must have a really good O-line.
Incredible.
That is Ken Hall level stuff…absolutely incredible
Maxpreps showing him with 39 carries for 423 yards, giving him 3605 yards and 43 TDS on the season.
That’s averaging 300 yards rushing per game, if you’re into that kind of stuff.

I received the stats directly from the OC at Strake
And every week the DC should be throwing the kitchen at him to slow him down.
Crazy stuff.
I’m pretty sure they already do.
Hebert has the potential to be a star. Someone we’ll all be talking about for years to come.
Willie has a way of finding “gems”, developing them, and keeping them.
He’s a phenomenal evaluator of talent.
Been watching him all season (my nephew plays in special teams) and he gets his yards and TDs knowing the D is coming at him hard and daring SJ offense to throw. Lamar was stacking the line with the whole team and had him contained at the beginning of the game but seems as the game progressed he shifted gears and got into Johnny’s “beast mode”. His first three TDs (50+ each TD) were absolutely incredible where he found the hole and was flying with Lamar defenders “trying” to get to him.
And in the last drive he wasn’t even tired as he burned the last 5mins in the clock running like 11 straight times and gaining 59 yards!!! I think the last four plays he was in the QB position getting direct snaps.
