You beat Kansas and Houston. Calm down.
Dude can’t even throw
Slightly off topic but UNLV must have spent all their cash on keeping Dedan lol

Sorry man, but outside of Punters, QBs are the most protected species on the football field planet.
How much a year does it cost to send a student to a university (including room and board, meals, classes, tutors, books, tuition, etc.).
We hear all the time about people with $150k + with high interest rate student loan debt (and having a rough time making ends meet over a period of decades).
I’m tired of people just dismissing the monetary value (present and future) of their college education.
I played football 8 years through high school. But knowing what I know today about long-term injury I would strongly encourage a son to not play football.
Translation:
I wasn’t promised the perks of Las Vegas of strippers, bottle service, cash, food, and cars.
Therefore I intend to transfer out.
You’re a hypocrite.
What was the tweet? It has been deleted
Sorry that page doesn’t exist
I’m not blaming the players, but they will suffer greatly and so will the whole sport if this becomes common. If I was a UNLV fan I would boycott the sport full stop.
The issue with the Sluka issue in my judgement is he did not receive what he was promised for his commitment. He was promised $100,000, and received a $3,000 stipend for moving expenses. He has now claimed his value has increased. Legitimate claim if there was no contract, which I tend to believe by using the term “promised”.
If these are the accurate facts, I don’t blame Sulka for transferring.
When does the NIL turn into the Soccer model with wealthier teams loaning out their bench and younger players in order to make more money.
I have been wondering the same thing. Could UT send a player to UTEP or UTSA to get playing time and development, since it’s part of the same system? At the same time UT covers the NIL commitment.
He should have shut it down before game 1.
Which begs the question, how much is Houston paying Zeon Chriss for transferring. How bout QB1.
Duarte ?
Is NIL all private money? Any public money?
Think it’s like $400k ish?
He deleted the tweet, but the image shows that the person that tweeted that UNLV met their obligations is listed as Marion’s PR guy. Basically I think it’s pretty clearly that UNLV made promises and hoped the money would be there. They are now trying to do damage control because it’s obviously a terrible look. As I mentioned before, this is becoming too common as there are no contracts that can be signed until a player starts attending a school. So some schools will make promises and hope they find the money later.
That’s kind of a cowardly response.
Like someone who drives by, flips you off and, hits the gas pedal.
Care to elaborate?
G5s and Big 12 are now JUCOs for the SEC/B1G
It is what it is. If Donovan smith was good, he would have been snatched by Auburn by now
