Sampson recruited him for his toughness and leadership.

Sampson recruited as kid he felt could buy in and accept a different way of doing things. By UH standards soft fits but that’s not really meant as a slight. Many players can’t and won’t buy into how we do things.
Sasser was ready to go home after the first week of summer training. That worked out pretty well too.
Sime people criticizing CKS have no clue.
Is it CKS fault that we missed so many shots? Clearly no. We lost this championship ourselves. We let Florida get it. There is no other ways to put it. Our shooting % was bad and so was our FT %. When you shoot so poorly and so unlike us you lose…and we only lost by two points.
At this stage most teams that win are better than you are. No offense to Florida but we should have won by at least 10 points. That is why this defeat is so frustrating.
In CKS I trust.
