Uzan: Declares for the draft, has until May 28th to decide to return

Well said. CKS can make those shots for the players.

I don’t think I’ve ever followed a coach this closely that I have appreciated so much. He is wizard creating plays and he puts so much trust in his players that he knows the plays will work.

The loss Monday was on the players inability to make baskets. Like one three pointer and we would have won. Or, heck knock down a couple baskets and we win.

But that stretch where UH didn’t score for like 10 mins, seemed like eternity in person.

Man, when we were up my 10+ in the second half, Florida fans were non existent.

There aren’t roster limitations in place. There are proposals, but nothing definitive. And it’s extremely unlikely that they would institute a roster limit with no grace period or “grandfathering” provisions, especially considering the limited amount of time programs would have to react to a new rule.

I’d be surprised if Sampson wants to get crazy like Arizona and have 20 players on the roster, though.

This article seems to point toward the settlement including the roster cap at 15, but the judge has indicated some reluctance to approve that. It’s not an actual rule yet, for sure.

I’m petty sure both roster & scholarship limits are both capped at 15 starting in 2025-2026.

From today, it still hasn’t been concluded
And this
During the hearing, Wilken(the judge) suggested exemptions or “grandfathering” of roster spots for all current college athletes under the settlement

Yeah, that’s not accurate. The limits and settlement haven’t been agreed to by the judge, which could come in a few weeks or several months.

Very true

Or one goaltending call that was missed.

If THAT is what you’re referencing to say all these expectations on Jarreau were so high, then you need to throw all your electronic devices out a 10th floor window, Pesik.

Man, you’ll go to ANY length to be right. There’s nothing cute about it. To see somebody(you) dominate a message which such continual, babblin’ BS is the real injustice to the rest of us.

(and PS…yeah your clips of Pop’s D make him look bad, and YET Coach Sampson still SOUGHT out Isaacs to come here, so THAT FACTOID should really make you STFU about his defense. Geez…)

Nate

Did Sampson seek him out or did Uzan play a big part in this, supposedly Uzan wanted him here but I would think coach would nix it with doubts about pop?

Weird question. Has Sharp actually played as a 2 guard a whole lot? Seems like the entire time he’s been here Cryer has played the 2 and I can’t remember him playing there a whole lot. Granted I get that the roles are not that different in our system outside of guarding SFs instead of SGs

$harp guarded Clayton Jr. in the championship game…

2 or 3… he plays SG.

Imo TA was more of a true 3… and it sounds like Harwell and McCarty will fill that role next season.

In fact, heard he declared because he was being cut…

Ask yourself this; who else on the roster is a better replacement for LJ?

We have overcome the refs all season, the disparity in FT’s is not new, even the missed goal tending we usually overcome, but when we missed so many bunnies, I thought this is not good.

Next year without Uzan we’re going to have some growing pains with a new point guard and hopefully catch up by tournament time.
With Uzan we’re probably going to be strong from the get-go.

Doesn’t matter. All players will go through the same vetting processes.

But the expectation after Rob left wouldn’t drop? Even with Jarreau replacing him…
Make it make sense. That’s right…ANY thing to fit your narrative.

…like anybody who KNOWS the games give a FUDGE about some “podcast guy’s opinion”? It could’ve been Fran Frischilla(sp?) and I would’ve given him two fingers. Stop acting those people that YOU put on a pedastal are worth the toilet they SHIPt on.
