Since ESPN , sports writers and other networks are so in love with SEC and B10 , brag on their attendances, start them at 11:00 According them people will watch go no matter what
It’s actually brutal to start Houston or other like climates at this time and should consider this. They will still get their numbers because they brag on these conferences and shouldn’t be concerned
Like said before I see all ethnicities at our games so I don’t think that is the issue. The student section was packed again for the 3rd time so it’s trending upwards.
That heartland doofus was bagging on us because he’s pissed.
Everyone told us we’d suck in the Big 12. Remember when we lost our first two hoops games? This board was crawling with trolls telling us to know our place.
The fact is since we have joined the Big 12 we have been the absolute best hoops program while blue blood KU has done nothing. And in football we are ranked again and had a bowl win over LSU. We aren’t the best football program but we are towards the top. And we’re doing all that without a huge fan base or even equal revenue sharing.
Students repped fine. Just wish they were more rowdy and vocal for the team.
We sit in the handicap area on the visitor side and UCF had a decent crowd.
It wasn’t that long ago that we were hearing all about the expanded student section taking back season ticket-holders seats. So far, those seats are mostly empty.
This tells me that athletics still hasn’t figured out how to connect with the students to get them interested. It’s confounding.
If you really don’t think student diversity is part of the problem in creating supporting alumni, who in turn support athletics, send me a PM about some beachfront property I have for sale in Kansas. It’s dirt cheap!
